Goju Fitness was established in 2008 bySensei Graham Innes 6th Dan.Graham began his training in Shotokan karate in 1977 under the late Sensei Keinosuke Enoeda 9th Dan in the UK. After Sensei Enoeda’s untimely death, Graham was graded to 2nd Dan by Sensei Andy Sherry 10th Dan.

In 2006, while on a work assignment in San Diego, Graham met and trained with Soke Hausel 11th Dan and soon after was Grade to 6th Dan Shito-Ryu under Soke Hausel’s lineage.

In 2008, Graham returned to the UK and set up Goju Fitness with the aim of making karate accessible to everyone regardless of age, ability or experience. The first Goju Fitness club opened its doors in November 2008 in Winchester, Hampshire.

Graham is also a qualified personal trainer and sports massage therapist and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his classes.
